My Story

Courage is Often Quiet and Ordinary

My story has been shaped by three turning points that led me to life coaching, and to you.

The first came in 2015, when I was working in the corporate world in South Africa. I was carrying the weight of a demanding project while facing personal challenges at home, and eventually the strain led to burnout and depression. In that season I made a spontaneous choice to leave my job and move to South Korea to teach English. I didn’t know a soul or a single word of Korean, but I went anyway. That experience taught me that rest is not something you earn after working hard, it is something you need to sustain you. It also showed me that courage is often quiet and ordinary, and that wherever you go, God goes with you

IN TIME I CAME TO SEE THAT IT WAS NOT ABOUT VALUE, IT WAS ABOUT ALIGNMENT.

The second turning point came in 2021 in Hong Kong. On the surface my teaching job at a prestigious high school looked like success, but the isolation of the pandemic, the heavy workload, and the distance from family wore me down until I hit another wall of burnout. It was also the first time I faced professional rejection. Being told I wasn’t the right fit left me questioning my worth, but in time I came to see that it was not about value, it was about alignment. That realization opened my heart to life coaching, and I discovered a way to walk alongside people in a deeply personal and transformative way.

I HELP CREATE SPACE FOR SELF-CARE THAT RESTORES INSTEAD OF DEPLETES

The third turning point came in 2023. After nearly a decade abroad, I felt God’s nudge to return home to South Africa and begin the work I had been preparing for. Saying yes meant building a coaching practice rooted in faith, compassion, and practical tools. These experiences shaped my mission. Today, I walk with emotionally and spiritually exhausted women who want to feel like themselves again. I help them reconnect with their needs, release guilt, and create space for self-care that restores instead of depletes.

I WOULD BE HONORED TO WALK THIS JOURNEY WITH YOU.

I know the loneliness of being far from home. I know the fear of asking for help, and the ache of giving more than you have. But I also know the relief of rebuilding, the peace of creating rhythms that protect your wellbeing, and the joy of finally coming home to yourself. If my story feels familiar, it may be because parts of it mirror your own. If you’re ready to begin your next chapter, I would be honored to walk that journey with you.
